I have such a short attention span for blogging. If I get interrupted, all my thoughts and my train of thought disappears and I can't finish the post.

Hence, all my awful, incomplete blogs.

Christmas was a success!

Everybody received exactly what they wanted and an all around fun time was had!

I'm glad I'm to the age now where I can be a great gift giver -- and I am a great gift giver. The only gift I was unsuccessful with was my mom's front porch swing, but I wasn't surprised when no stores had swings in December. Home Depot told me to come back in mid-February.

Santa brought me a new camera: a Nikon D5000! Also, my mom gave me The Secret Garden and The Sound of Music on DVD!

On a completely unrelated topic, I'd really like to start a new blog on a different host, maybe wordpress. I find blogger a little too cluttered and the colors don't appeal to my senses. Maybe it's just that I get tired of things too quickly, and I have nearly every kind of blog.

Since none of my family uses the internet...

I shall make a list of things I will get them for Christmas here. I'm going to go shopping tomorrow at the places that are in walking distance of my dorm.

My brother wants CD's, so there's CD Central for that. My mom expressed her liking for sQecial (which made me lol) so I might take a gander in there for her. My mom, my brother, and I already bought my dad $300 Bose noise-canceling headphones, so he's set. My niece and nephews are getting new monogrammed towels, sleeping bags, and clothes (just the towels are monogrammed), so they're set as well. I have no idea what to get my sister-in-law. I was thinking pajama pants, but that's kind of lame and not within walking distance. I have a tendency to buy really silly gifts for people that I think are really neat. For example, one year I bought one of my friends a small cacti terrarium. He must not of found it as amusing as I did because he lost it soon after Christmas. I also have a tendency to buy people jewelry. Paige can back me up on this one; she gets earrings practically every year from me. Lastly, I tend to have really grandeur ideas for gifts that I want to make for people, see: really expensive flannel quilt that I started a year ago.
